Justine Dean is a highly experienced professional with a diverse background in Coaching, Public Relations, Sales, Marketing, and Relationship Management. A Defence spouse for 22 years, she also has two sons currently serving in the military (with 8 and 15 years of service, respectively), and her brother served for 29 years.

Justine spent ten years as a Public Servant with the Department of Defence, gaining extensive experience in the tri-service environment of Joint Logistics Command. She most recently held the position of Head of People and Culture for a project management company in Canberra.

Over the past two years, Justine has gained a deeply personal understanding of the challenges that service members and their families face during medical discharges. Supporting her ex-husband and witnessing her brother’s experiences with the lengthy process, complex legislation, and the confusing array of entitlements and medical issues has provided her with invaluable insight into navigating claims.
